It was announced today that UK new car registrations are at all-time high in 2015

In 2015 some 2.63 million new vehicles were registered, up about 6% on 2014. Experts put this down to stronger consumer confidence, special deals, and cheap finance, all pushing up the figures. As well as low interest rates and the strengthening of sterling against the euro making it cheaper to import cars from countries such as Germany and France.

So heres out run down on whats new in 2016 – which one would you choose?

Spring 2016...

The Bentley Bentayga – Est. Price £160,000
A luxury SUV for those with deep pockets. Bentley are aiming to make the most luxurious and exclusive SUV

BMW M2 – Est. Price £44,000
Available in both manual and automatic gearboxes, the M2 is capable of 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds for the manual and 4.3 seconds for the automatic.

Jaguar F-Pace – Est. Price £34,000
Available from April. Choose either rear or 4 wheel drive with the option of manual or automatic gearbox. Possibilities of a smaller model in 2017.

An alternative to the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5 includes lots of tech such as inflatable seatbelts. Three levels of trim available.

Hyundai i20 Active – Est. Price £13,000
No 4 wheel drive but comes with chunkier styling. Currently only available in the 5 door option.
